Hey Azl!
Just wanted to stop by your blog and check things out…
I was talking with Angela the other day, and she pointed out that we’ve all known each other for almost 10 years now, and like it was yesterday, I can still remember meeting you for the first time back in 2000 (thanks Joanne!). Whenever we run into each other, whether in the streets or at Parc Lafontaine, it always feels like running into an old friend. We may not ‘know’ each other in the classic sense, I mean we didn’t grow up together or anything, but we’ve shared lots of amazing moments for sure!
So after ten years, and countless beautiful holes in my body by your hand, I am always amazed at your desire to continuously perfect your craft! The scarifications in your portfolio are simply amazing, and when you speak about them, about ‘that moment’ you share with the person and the anatomical canvas they provide, I know that I am hearing something rare and genuine, albeit difficult for me to put into words… [I am sure all your readers would agree with me, the relationship one develops with his piercer is singular, intimate and unexplainable!].
And I agree with you, all aesthetics aside, it’s all about creating your life, and in the end Azl, the impact you’ve had on mine is immeasurable!
Sorry if this whole thing seems a bit cheesy, but after seeing you last week, and sharing another incredible moment with you, I felt inspired and truly thankful that you’ve been a part of my life, a part of my ‘becoming’… and I just need to put it out there!
Richard
PS…I am so happy with my septum bro, everything is healing amazing, and it looks pretty damn good if I say so myself! hehe…
Oh yeah, feel free to post this email to your blog if you want….

On another note, after reading your blog, I have a tattoo proposition for you (I never knew you were interested in tattooing bro…) The project I have in mind is a bit different than what you showcase on your blog, but if you’re interested, I would be honoured to have you leave yet another mark (of a different type) on my skin!. I want to cover up an old tattoo on my thigh with a huge abstract linear black piece, scribbly, dark, brooding even… I’m having trouble finding the right person to do the piece, and when I read about your interest in inking, I think you may just be the one. I am looking for someone with a true vision, a passion for their art, rather than a shitload of experience replicating flash…hehe! I want the piece to have lots of emotion, and to be the product of a true exchange between two individuals…I am a bit of a marathoner when it comes to tattoos, so if you’re up for it, I am definitely down bro! Let me know if this is something you might be interested in, and I can stop by the shop to talk about it with you, but no pressure bro, just an idea…
I am truly touched by your comment and for sharing ………..MERCI! and yes I would be interested in working on your tattoo project. I am planning to incorporate more tattooing in my pursuits in the near future and I will let you know when I begin that next step of my journey.
hehe… didn’t think this would appear on the page!
LOL
Hi AZL, one of my stretched earlobes are off centered (too close to my face) I was wondering if there’s anything you could do, like maybe scalpelling my lobes to make them appear even/centered. Please email me back if there’s anything that can be done. Thanks!
Hello Max,
I’m sure I could fiqure a way to even them but I would really need to see your ears and what shape they are in to determine the best course of action.
feel free to drop by the shop for a consultation and we’ll go from there.
I couldnt find your email, but heres the link to my music page (Reverb Nation) :http://www.reverbnation.com/hilaryjane

cheers!
I was looking at the website that stole one of your pictures, and I noticed at least one other that they stole, I want to say it was a daith piercing, though I’m not sure. How pathetic!
I like this website very much so much wonderful information.
You should take part in a contest for one of the best blogs on the web. I will recommend this site!
Hello Azl,
we met yesterday for the first time when I came to get my dermal anchor. By the way, my name is Joannie Proulx. I don’t know if my English will be good enough to express what I want to say, but I will try my best.
I’ve had that passion, that desire of dedication to myself, to my body, that comes with piercings since a long time, many years. Younger, I would see myself with holes all over my body and today, I couldn’t be happier with who I am. I wanted something special, something that would stay with me forever, my dermal anchor, since 3 years. But I wasn’t ready. I think there’s always a RIGHT time to achieve something and yesterday couldn’t have been a better one. I’m really happy that I’ve had the chance to share that moment, that goal with you. I felt like it was the first time someone actually understood how I felt every times I got my body pierced. I’ve seen passion and true love for your work in everything you said.
I was really lucky to meet you, you’re an inspiring human being. Sometimes you meet people that have that energy, that electricity, that spark in themselves that they share with you and that change your life. You’re one of them.
I can’t wait to come again when I’m fully healed to share another of my body modification goal with you. And I will for sure come again in a year or two hoping that you will have some time to share your knowledge with me.
Thank you for everything,
Joannie
Hello Joanie,
Your very sweet, thank you and you’re very welcome. I appreciate your acknowledgement and hope to see you again for more piercings.
I’m sure every piercer appreciates receiving gestures such as yours, it’s always nice to have feedback from my clients.
Hey Azl!
I see Mtl tattoo will be at the Classic Bike & Tattoo Show this 20-23 April, will you be there?
Tanks
Max
Yes, I’ll be there saturday night after 8pm til the end. Maybe I’ll see you at the booth.
Dear Azl,
I just wanted to let you know what an inspiration you have been for me. I stumbled upon your website and I check it often to see what kind of new impressive work you’ve done! As a fledgling piercer, I really appreciate the bar you keep raising for the piercing industry and the information you share with your photos. You are one of the best, and I hope if I am ever in the French Canadian area, I can drop by and get something done by you
Cheers,
-Sable K.
Well you just made my day, Merci! Don’t be a stranger if and when you’re in Montreal.
